I think soon I am going to add that section I had mentioned a few blogs ago, about my favorite excerpt from each chapter. I think maybe after people read my style of writing and see what I can do, they will be more likely and willing to comment and interact with me. Hopefully it goes well and isn't just another untouched page on my site.
So, I have come up with a new working title: "Fledgling". This has resonance within the book and with the book itself. What I mean by this is that Sonja is a "fledgling", a new member of her society who is just learning about who she is and where she comes from. She needs to, literally and metaphorically, spread her wings and strengthen them before she can fly. This applies to the actual book because it is my first novel, and thus a fledgling itself. Sometimes, tragically, young fledgling birds attempt to take flight and fail, landing in a heap of failure on the street below. I'm hoping this will not be the case for my newborn literary piece. I'm hoping it will have the strength, once finished, to take flight on its own and become successful. I'm so good at analogies, I should be a writer or something.
Anyway, now that I have written yet another long blog, let's get cracking into chapter 13!
As always, I would genuinely appreciate any kind of feedback from the 30 or so people who read my blog (that's right, I can check how many individuals have viewed my site) to respond in some way. Please? Maybe?
