So, at my lovely Sonja's ingenious suggestion, I have decided to make the Excerpts their own tab, as I feel they are far too important to be listed under another tab. I had been toying with the idea before, but with my esteemed colleagues suggestion, it only made sense to go ahead with it. Up to chapter 3 can be viewed under the Excerpts tab, and I would like to add chapter 4 before I head off to earn the bread this evening.
I have been thinking and dreaming of my book almost every day, and it breaks my heart that I can't dedicate more time to it. I have fallen in love with my characters, the easy flow of progress, and writing in itself. I think what spurned this sudden spark was stumbling upon a site dedicated to self publishing. Though I would like to find and agent of some kind, I would be happy to publish on my own to start. I will have to do more research into this as I want this to succeed; it would be a dream come true. But, on the other hand, self publishing means I, and Sonja, could do things our way, from the marketing to the sale of each book. We'll have to think about it.
If anyone has any suggestions on the best way to become a published author, and be successful (I know its a tough gig, but I have faith in my writing) I would be much obliged for that information.
Also, I have removed the forum page. It seemed pretty useless as it has been up for nearly a month and has received no feedback. Like Sonja said, maybe we'll have to wait until we're famous!
Right, enough from me, keep your eye out for chapter 4 in a bit.
